| Research instrument: Add-on module |
In addition to the basic module, the Tobacco Monitoring Switzerland collects data on additional questions every quarter, which are captured by add-on modules that are used once or can be repeated periodically. Thanks to the flexibility by which the Tobacco Monitoring Switzerland can be adjusted to and take up on current events, it can not be called a questionnaire. Instead, it is much more a continuously changing catalogue of questions. Moreover, there is not one set of questions that are asked of all Swiss residents; instead, the questions differ depending on the responses of the interviewees. A special flow chart was developed for realization of the interviews.
