
Attitudes towards legislative measures1
The reports on this topic examine the attitudes of people living in Switzerland towards policies/legal measures. Information is also provided on acceptance of restricting advertising, and bans on smoking.
Acceptance of legal regulations
In the year 2010 about 65% of 14- to 65-year-old permanent residents of Switzerland believe that smoking advertisment trivialize the negative health consequences of smoking. Adolescents and young adults estimate the impact of smoking advertisment less persuasive.
